| We hear the Heartbeat: |

| Mom and dad heard my first heartbeat on the 11th of October. I think dad got a litle tear in his eye. |

| Mom and dad's feelings after first ultrasound: |
|
| Mom was in complete amazment, at how fast my heart was beating. It was her first real sign that I was real and she loved it. I think for dad it was the same. He now realised that he was going to be a father. |
|
|

| Comments on the ultrasound: |
|
| We were sad that we forgot to record the heart beat. Maybe we can do it later. We got to see the baby twice at this session. The first time the doctor forgot to take pictures, se we had to do it again. |
|
| We listened to the ultrasound cassette at home: |

| The heartbeat was recorded on a litle mp3 player on the 15th of november. |

| Doctor's comments: |
|
The doctor at the ultarsound said that everything looks great. And that the baby is now due on the 19th of april, give or take a week.
The Pediatric Cardoispecialist said that the babies heart was looking good, as much as he could see. It's about 2cm big. And that the baby has a less than 1% chance of developing heart problems after it's born. |

| Mom and dad's comments: |

| Mom: It was great to see the baby again. It was moving so much during the ultrasound, as if to say ''why you disturbing me so early in the morning!!'' It was the most amazing sight to see. We saw the heart beating for the first time. We also went to the Pediatric Cardoispecialist and he said that everything was perfect. I don't think i have ever felt so relived in my life. Just to hear that the baby was doing great. My jaw hurts from smiling so much:). We asked to know the sex of the baby, but had it written in a card. We'll open it to night when we go out for dinner. Right now the card is sitting in my bag and it's calling out to me. But NO I HAVE TO BE STRONG:):). |
